MONCKS CORNER, SC (WCSC) - Moncks Corner Police are looking for Dontae Raphael Williams.

Williams, 23, is wanted on charges of carjacking and armed robbery in connection with an incident that happened in February, 2012.

"The victim was coming home, running an errand, parked his vehicle, a Cadillac and it's a pretty distinctive Cadillac in the front yard," said Moncks Corner Police Lt. Michael Roach.

That's when Roach said Williams and his two accomplices made their move on the victim.

"Next thing you know he's being attacked and they jump him and steal his car. He did put up a fight, a good fight, he received some injuries."

After the carjacking, police showed the victim a photo lineup of possible suspects and they say he picked Williams as one of the suspects

"You hope when you pull in to your driveway you're safe, and get dinner, and your guard's down and all of a sudden people are coming up to you, create a diversion and are attacking you and stealing your car," Roach said.

The stolen car is a 2003 orange Cadillac Deville with chrome rims and North Carolina tags ABL 3115.

Williams stands 5'8" and weighs about 160 lbs.

His last known address is Haynesville Extension in Moncks Corner.
