WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Two men held another man at gunpoint early Wednesday morning near an Ashley River Road business.
Charleston police officers were called to 1369 Ashley River Road in reference to an armed robbery. The victim told police that he was walking down an alley when two men standing near a parked car began to approach him.
One of the men put a gun to the victim's face and said "Give me all your money." The victim handed over his wallet and the suspect fled toward St. Andrews Gardens.
During the investigation, an officer ran a vehicle check on a car that could have been part of the incident. When police located the owner, he too said he had been held at gunpoint.
The second victim said that he was approached by two men while he was smoking a cigarette inside his car. One of the men said to "Give me all the money," but the victim told him he didn't have any and that he just had water. He demanded the water, and as the victim reached for it, the two men fled the area.
Police are still looking for the suspects.
