WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County Sheriff Al Cannon has provided some new information regarding the investigation into the October 2011 murder of 5-year-old Allison Griffor.
On Tuesday evening, Cannon said the "investigation [was] moving along and that [they felt] very confident with some of the individuals involved in that case." Cannon also said investigators were waiting for some things with the federal government to take place.
Griffor was shot on Oct. 25 while sleeping during a home invasion on Pierpont Avenue in West Ashley. She later died at MUSC.
Detectives are still seeking anyone who has any information in regards to this case.
