NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - At about 8:30 Friday evening, City of North Charleston Police officers responded to Appian Way Apartments at 8465 Patriot Blvd in reference to a male victim being shot during a robbery.
On scene, officers located the victim lying on the ground and suffering from a gunshot wound. The male victim was transported to MUSC in critical condition.
During the investigation, Detectives learned the victim arrived at the apartment complex to deliver a pizza. The victim went to the address that the pizza was to
be delivered and learned from the residents that they did not order any food. As the victim was returning to his vehicle, he was approached by a black male, robbed and shot.
