GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC)- Goose Creek police are investigating a tractor theft reported from a job site near Montague Plantation Road.
A site supervisor for Sanders Brothers Construction Company called Goose Creek Police Department on Monday morning to report his $20,000 John Deere tractor stolen.
The supervisor said the tractor was last seen at a job site near the corner of Firethorn and Nandina streets, which are new roads, on Friday around 6 p.m.
Tire tracks from the scene indicate the 2010 5045-E Tractor was driven down Firethorn Street, police said.
The supervisor told officers that he suspected someone who is familiar with construction equipment probably stole the property.
