NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Authorities are on the lookout for a teenager who lured a pizza delivery woman to a house and pistol whipped her before robbing her of money.

The North Charleston Police Department responded to an armed robbery at an address on Harvey Avenue Wednesday afternoon. The victim, a 47-year-old pizza delivery driver, said she was robbed at gunpoint by a black male wearing a blue scarf over his face.

The victim said that the suspect called in an order and told her to deliver the pizza to the back door of the house because the front of the house was being renovated.

A police report states that when she walked around the back of the house the suspect ambushed her. The suspect pointed a gun at her and ordered her to the ground telling her not to look at him.

The victim said the suspect then ordered her to give him all of her money. At that time, the victim stated she attempted to pick her head up to get a look at the suspect but was struck in the back of the head by the suspect's gun.

The suspect took money and the pizza, then jumped a wooden fence.

The victim described the suspect as a black teenager wearing blue or black cargo pants with a blue scarf over his face. The victim said she could not remember what color shirt the suspect was wearing because she was delirious after being hit in the head with the gun.

The gun was described as an all black hand gun similar to a glock model.

The victim was transported to St. Francis Hospital to be treated for her head injury.

Authorities learned through neighbors that the home the pizza was being delivered to was a vacant home. Witnesses say that a "For Sale" sign that was placed in front of the yard was no longer there.
