CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Charleston County sheriff's deputies are looking for 25 year old Keneton Tyrone Powell.
Powell is wanted on charges of failing to appear in court on cocaine and marijuana charges.
"I would certainly say he's a drug dealer and certainly very dangerous to society," said Deputy Reggie Sharpe. "H's been arrested several times, he's out on bond and he skipped."
Sharpe says the sheriff's office has as many as six bench warrants on Powell on the drug charges.
"A drug dealer like this brings a lot misery and you can say this fella's a purveyor of misery," he said.
Cops are convinced there are people out there who are hiding Powell. They recently arrested one of his family members for lying about the fugitive's whereabouts.
"So if you lend him a hand, beware, you will suffer the consequences as a result," Sharpe warned. "All these charges are very serious. If convicted, he stands to do a long time in jail, quite a few years, so it's obvious to me he doesn't want to be caught."
Powell stands 6'0" and weighs about 240 lbs.
Sharpe says Powell also goes by the name Frederick Hartwell.
