WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston City Police Department has arrested one of two suspects they say robbed a man Friday night on Locksley Drive in West Ashley.
Officers arrested and charged 20-year-old Kenneth Porter with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a commission of a violent crime. Investigators are still trying to identify the second suspect.
According to police the victim was approached by the suspects on Locksley Drive and robbed of his wallet and cell phone. A perimeter was set in place by authorities to locate the suspects. Porter was located at St. Andrews Gardens Apartment by police and transported to the Charleston County Detention Center.
This incident is still under investigation with the Charleston City Police Department.
