West Columbia, S.C. – The West Columbia Police Department is taking a proactive stand against holiday crime by offering a free seminar for the public. Chief Dennis Tyndall stated, “We want our citizens to be aware of the steps they can take to protect themselves.” The informative seminar will be held in the West Columbia Courtroom at 200 N. 12th Street on Tuesday, December 13th from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Lt. John Norman, who serves as the Community Action Team Coordinator for the West Columbia Police Department will be covering topics to include:The session is free to the public. To register, contact Lt. Norman at 936-6280. If you, or someone you know, have any information regarding any crime, you are encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers. You could earn a reward up to $1,000.
