SUMTER COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Sumter County deputies are looking for a man they believe shot a person multiple times during an argument Monday night.
Investigators have identified Christopher Leon Butler of Woodlawn Ave. in Sumter as a suspect in the shooting at a home in the 3000 block of Connie Dr. in the Rembert community.
Deputies say Butler shot another person in the head and in the neck during an argument. Butler and the victim knew each other, according to investigators.
The sheriff says Butler left the scene in a gold 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis with South Carolina Tag GZL-279.
The victim was airlifted to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital in critical condition.
Butler is wanted for Attempted Murder.
