NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -
Police are on the lookout for a man who robbed a convenience store in North Charleston Sunday evening.
The North Charleston Police Department responded to the Kangaroo Express on 5989 Dorchester Road for a reported robbery.
The clerk told officers that a man entered the store and began writing on paper at the lottery ticket station.
According to investigators, the man then approached the clerk and handed the note which read, "Give me all the cash."
Police say the man then lifted his shirt and showed a black handgun. The clerk then gave the suspect the money from the register.
Authorities are continuing the investigation.
