LADSON, SC (WCSC) - Dorchester County sheriff's deputies are still looking for two suspects who allegedly ran from them Wednesday afternoon in Ladson while authorities were executing an arrest warrant.
According to Major John Garrison with the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office, deputies were serving an arrest warrant in the Tranquil Estates area on Ladson Road when two men walked by. When confronted by one of the deputies, they ran and were chased.
Deputies say one suspect had what looked like a gun in his pants. The gun was recovered, but deputies were unable to locate the suspects.
Witnesses reported several police cars in the area and a helicopter being used in the search.
The scene has been cleared, but the suspect are still at large.
