GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Police are searching for a robbery suspect after they say an advance cash business was held up Tuesday afternoon in Goose Creek.
The Goose Creek Police Department responded to the Advance America check cashing store on 134 St. James Ave. for an armed robbery around 3:07 p.m.
According to investigators, the suspect took out a gun, demanded cash and then left the business with money. The suspect was last seen running towards US 52.
Authorities describe the suspect as a 30-year-old black male with a beard wearing dark pants and an orange vest with green stripes similar to a construction worker's vest.
