CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston City Police is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Saturday morning at the Kangaroo convenience store on Savannah highway.
Police says a black man entered the store at approximately 7a.m. and demanded money from the cashier. Witnesses tell police that they did not see a physical weapon, but that the suspect's hand was shoved inside his jacket pocket as if he did had one.
Authorities say the suspect was last seen wearing a black and white jacket with black and white jeans. The suspect is about 5'2 in height and weight about 150 pounds.
