NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department was called out to a shooting that occurred on Accabee Road Saturday night in North Charleston.
According to authorities an officer notice a vehicle approaching them when it stopped on Accabee Road and Ferrara Drive. When the officer walked towards the car, they noticed that the driver was suffering from a gunshot wound to the stomach.
The driver told police that he was shot by someone in another vehicle as he was traveling on Accabee Road near Madden Drive.
The victim was taken to MUSC for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time.
Investigators say the suspect was last seen driving a late model Chevrolet Impala.
