NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police are on the lookout for a suspect that shot at two people in North Charleston early Sunday morning.
The North Charleston Police Department responded to 7575 Rivers Ave. for a reported shooting.
When officers arrived, they found two victims with one suffering from gunshot wounds. The injured victim said that they were both walking in the parking lot when the incident occurred.
The victims stated that they were approached by a masked black male who took out a handgun. The victims then ran from the suspect.
Investigators say as the victims were running, the suspect fired several times striking one of the victims twice. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of his wounds which are not life threatening.
The suspect is described as 5'9" - 5'10" and weighing 160 lbs. Police are continuing the investigation.
