MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - According the Mt. Pleasant Police Department two suspects armed with a pistol robbed the McDonalds off Highway 17 in the Market at Oakland. Police say the suspects robbed the fast food restaurant and left one of the employees with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities say at 6:45 Saturday morning the two male suspects entered the McDonalds and demanded money. The suspects fled the location with an undisclosed amount of money and left the scene in a vehicle described as a later model two toned Crown Victoria.
Authorities closed the McDonalds after the incident and blocked off the scene with police tape until noon. Another crew of employees from a McDonalds at another location open the store back up since then.
