COLUMBIA, SC (WIS/WCSC) - Deputies say a 21-year-old woman who is suspected of robbing ATMs in Columbia was arrested at her home in Charleston on Friday.

The Richland County Sheriff's Office arrested Dedrea Rodriguez who is accused of being the driver in at least three robberies at ATMs in Northeast Columbia in July.

Rodriguez is accused of driving 22-year-old Kelley Tyler to three ATMs on July 15 to steal money, cell phones and other items from unsuspecting people.

Tyler, who was arrested in late July, is charged in the robberies, which all took place in a span of about 17 hours at ATMS on Two Notch Rd., Clemson Rd., and Farrow Rd.

Lott said the robberies started just before 3:00 a.m. at a Bank of America ATM at 7373 Two Notch Rd. Rodriguez and Kelley pushed a pistol into a woman's chest and made the victim withdraw cash from the ATM, Lott said. The suspects left the scene with the victim's cell phone, money, and car keys, investigators said.

Their next stop, according to Lott, was a Bank of America ATM at 2000 Clemson Rd at 4:45 a.m. At that location, the two suspects showed a gun and demanded the victim's money, wallet, and car keys, investigators said.

Then, around 8:00 p.m., Rodriquez and Kelley struck again, Lott said. the suspects presented a handgun and stole the victim's money, cell phone, debit card, and car keys at a Bank of America ATM at 8810 Farrow Rd.

Rodriguez is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on 3 counts of Armed Robbery, 3 counts of Kidnapping, and Assault and Battery.
