WALTERBORO, SC (WCSC) - Authorities say a Dorchester County woman is responsible for setting seven small fires throughout a Walterboro insurance agency last week.
Walterboro Public Safety officers arrested 25-year-old Amy N. Head on Monday in connection with the fire which happened at American General on Robertson Boulevard around 7:41 p.m. last Friday.
She is charged with arson. Investigators say Head used paper to start seven small fires: three on top of desks, one on top of a filing cabinet, one underneath a desk, two in mail slots, and one on a bulletin board.
Head is being held in the Colleton County Detention Center.
