GEORGETOWN, SC (WCSC) - Investigators are in Georgetown this morning on business related to the search for Brittanee Drexel.
Authorities are expected to be at the Sunset Lodge Hotel on Highway 17, just before the Georgetown airport. It is unclear if authorities will be conducting another search for the missing woman or releasing new details in the case.
Live 5 News has a reporter in Georgetown and we will provide updates throughout the day on Live5News.com.
Earlier this year marked the two-year anniversary since Drexel vanished from Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach. Myrtle Beach Police say they do have several persons of interest they are looking at. Investigators have been monitoring these people, and the new leads, to try and find the last missing piece that will solve this case.
Drexel was last seen leaving a hotel along Ocean Boulevard on April 25, 2009. Her family, including mother Dawn Drexel, and hundreds of volunteers have been involved in about 50 searches for Brittanee Drexel.
