NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Authorities arrested a female suspect they say tried to rob a Walgreens on Dorchester Road on Wednesday morning.
Officers with the North Charleston Police Department arrived on the scene - at the corner of Dorchester Road and Ashley Phosphate road - just before 11 a.m.
Police say the woman pulled out a gun and presented a note demanding prescription drugs from the pharmacy. The clerk reportedly stalled the suspect to keep her in the store.
When police arrived, they arrested her. Police say the gun was actually a BB gun.
Officers are trying to figure out if the suspect had an accomplice. No one was injured.
