WALTERBORO, SC (WCSC) - Police have twice charged a man with shoplifting after surveillance video showed him placing tools inside his pants at a Sears department store in Walterboro.
Walterboro Police Department officers responded to the store on Bells Highway just after 12 p.m. on Friday, when store patrons said they saw 47-year-old John Lemon, of St. George, stealing tools.
The manager locked the doors and called police. Authorities said that video from Friday's incident. also showed Lemon trying to put the tools back on the shelves.
Lemon is also charged with stealing tools from the same store just a few days earlier, on June 25.
