WALTERBORO, SC - Walterboro police say a man was robbed at gunpoint for two bags of quarters Sunday night.
Police say the victim stopped at a traffic light off Wichman and North Lemacks Streets when two men approached his car pointing guns at him and demanding money.
The victim handed over two bags of quarters and the suspects immediately fled the scene on foot traveling down North Lemacks Street.
The suspects are described as two black males, one wearing all black and the other wearing a black shirt and camouflage shorts. Both have a slender build and looked to be between the ages of 16 and 19 years old.
A search of the area was conducted for the suspects, but none were located.
