MT. PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Mt. Pleasant Police say an armed robbery suspect jumped the counter at a Mt. Pleasant Subway restaurant Tuesday night and stole money from the register.
According to investigators, the Subway on Belle Station Boulevard in the Food Lion Shopping Center was robbed around 9:45 p.m. Witnesses say he had a small black gun and jumped over the counter and stole money out of the partially-open cash register.
Police say a man walked into the Mt. Pleasant store with his face covered and demanded money. Witnesses say he may have had a gun.
The suspect is described as a male wearing a blue sweatshirt with a hood, dark pants, black shoes and latex gloves.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
