ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Orangeburg County sheriff's deputies are searching for a suspect they say shot and killed a man Friday afternoon.
Investigators are looking for 45-year-old Carvin Holman in connection with the shooting. The shooting happened in Holly Hill, near Boyer Street. The State Law Enforcement Division is assisting in the search.
Deputies say that Holman fatally shot a Holly Hill man at 715 Boyer Road shortly after 1 p.m. Friday.
"All efforts and resources are being used to locate Holman," said Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell. "Our bloodhounds, SLED's bloodhounds, and SLED's helicopter have been deployed to locate Holman who is considered armed and dangerous."
