WALTERBORO, SC (WCBD) - Walterboro Public Safety, along with the Colleton County Sheriff's Office, has made three arrests in conjunction with the May 14th shooting incident at Wimberly's Car Wash in Walterboro, located at 1209 Hampton Street.
Following a call for service at this address, Walterboro Public Safety officers discovered numerous spent shell casings in the parking lot and established a crime scene.
At that time, officers were notified by staff at the Colleton Medical Center that a gunshot victim had been brought in. An investigation confirmed that the victim had sustained a gunshot wound at the location of the car wash.
Walterboro Public Safety investigators have since been conducting an extensive investigation of the incident in collaboration with the Colleton County Sheriff's Office.
The investigation has led to three arrests. Moray Dupree Holmes, Kelvin Francis Mitchell, Jr., and Brian Manigo have been arrested and charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, and discharging a firearm within city limits.
These three individuals are currently being held at the Colleton County Jail.
Meanwhile, warrants have been issued for Deshawn T. Brown who is facing the same charges.
Brown is not in custody at this time, and his location is unknown.
Due to the nature of the crime, Brown is considered to be armed and dangerous. Further investigation is ongoing.
