WALTERBORO, SC (WCSC) - The Walterboro Police Department is investigating a shooting that sent two people to the hospital early Sunday morning on East Washington Street.
According to authorities the shooting happen at approximately 2:10 a.m. in front of the Comfort Zone Restaurant and Bar.
When officers arrived on the scene they found two victims suffering from a gunshot wound.
Both victims were taken to Colleton County Medical Center and were later transported to MUSC. Their injuries are not life-threatening. One victim has been released.
Police has issued an arrest warrant for 30-year-old Johnny Ray Ford. Ford is being charged with two counts of attempted murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, unlawful carrying of a pistol and discharging a firearm within city limits.
Ford is described as approximately 5'9" tall, weighs 160 pounds, with shoulder length dread locks. Investigators say Ford is considered to be armed and dangerous.
