GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Authorities are looking for information in the theft of more than $50,000 worth of jewelry from a store in Goose Creek.
The Goose Creek Police Department responded to the Crowfield Jewelers on 142 St. James Ave. on Wednesday in reference to a reported jewelry larceny.
The owner told police he believes that two men who were working on renovations stole the jewelry. He also said that the two men were the only ones to have access to the rear of the store since the missing items were brought to the store.
According to the owner, the items that were brought into the store were brought for cleaning or repair that were kept in containers at the rear of the store.
Police are continuing the investigation.
