WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - One West Ashley gas station is on the look out for two beer bandits.
On March 8, two men slipped past cashiers carrying over one hundred dollars worth of beer around 1 p.m. The owner of the Exxon gas station says he can't believe thieves are bold enough to steal in broad daylight.
"They don't care. People aren't afraid to steal anymore. What's the world coming to?" says Robert Suggs.
After the two men loaded up the trunk of their burgundy Cadillac, they waved goodbye and sped off.
The entire crime was caught on surveillance, but police are having a hard time tracking down the suspects because they had a temporary tag.
The owner says a similar incident happened in October. A man took several cases of beer and was chased out by a cashier. But the man still took the alcohol, hopped in his car and drove away.
No arrests have been made in either case.
