NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – North Charleston Police are looking for three men wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a North Charleston Asian restaurant.
According to North Charleston police, Luz's Place, a Filipino restaurant on Remount Road in North Charleston, was robbed at gun point Saturday afternoon.
Police responded to Luz's Place around 12:15 p.m. in reference to an armed robbery. Police say three black men wearing blue jeans and dark color hoodies had their faces covered with dark masks when they demanded money from a restaurant employee Saturday.
Cecilio Munroy, owner of Luz's Place, said he was sitting in his favorite chair in his North Charleston restaurant when three robbers burst through the front door Saturday afternoon.
The three robbers took over $300 from the register.
Munroy told authorities that at least two of the men were armed with handguns. According to investigators, the suspects fled the scene out the front door.
North Charleston police aren't saying if the two suspects in Saturday's robberies are the same men suspected in at least 25 Asian restaurant robberies in the Lowcountry.
