WALTERBORO, SC - A Walterboro tobacco shop was robbed at gun point for the third time since September.
The Tobacco Shop on Hampton Street was robbed at gun point by three males on Friday, November 12, 2010. The shop was previously robbed on Sept. 18th and Oct. 27th of this year.
The Colleton Country Sheriff's Office is investigating the robberies.
According to the police report, three black males (pictured right), wearing ski masks and hooded sweatshirts, entered the store at approximatley 7:51 pm last Friday. One of the suspects was carrying a firearm and pointed it at the store clerk while the other suspects took cigarettes and money from the cash register. The three suspects left the store with four cartons of cigarettes and an undetermined amount of cash.
Investigators are looking for a black male who is approximately 25 years old in connection with the Sept. 18 robbery.
