JAMES ISLAND, S.C. – Police are searching for men they say used a baton and a taser to rob the occupants of a home on Harbor Cove Lane.
According to reports, two men entered the home through the front door, ordered the occupants to hand over their cell phones and then began looting the home for valuables.
One of the victims claimed to have been shocked by the taser before being asked to turn over her debit card and personal identification number.
Among other items taken were two video game systems, $150 in cash and a computer.
One of the suspects has been described as a black male, approximately 5-foot-11 and 230 pounds. The victims said he was wearing a gray NASCAR jacket and was armed with the taser.
The other suspect was been described as a black male, approximately 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds. The victims said he was wearing a dark, hooded sweat shirt.
The victims said that during the incident one of the suspects referred to the other by the name "Mac."
