CHARLESTON, SC - City of Charleston Police say an armed man robbed the Savannah Highway Shoney's restaurant during an early morning delivery Tuesday, June 16, 2009.
Officers say the suspect ran out the back door with about $100.
The incident report states that a delivery truck driver was unloading a delivery when the suspect followed him through the open back door.
The suspect forced everyone to the front of the store, where he pointed the gun to an employee's head and announced, "Don't make me do it," according to the report.
The suspect told all of the employees except for the one to turn around and forced that employee to empty the register. The suspect took the money and then ran out the back door.
The suspect is described as a black male, 45 to 50 years old, between 5 feet' 10" and 6' tall, and between 145 and 160 pounds.
