Goose Creek convenience store robbed at gunpoint

GOOSE CREEK, SC - Goose Creek Police say an armed man robbed a convenience store of $228, $150 less than he would have taken had he not run into the doorway and dropped some of the money on his way out.
The robbery occurred at 10:25 PM Friday at the Big T's convenience store on 402 St. James Avenue.
The suspect, wearing all-black, pointed a silver gun at the clerk and demanded all of the money in the cash register. The suspect grabbed the money and attempted to escape when he ran into the door and dropped $150.
Officers found a black mask and three $5 bills lying along Kensington Drive.
There have been no arrests to date. The suspect is described as about 5-foot-7 and 130 pounds.
