CHARLESTON, SC - Crime Stoppers of the Lowcountry is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information in the disappearance of Brittanee Drexel.
Brittanee Drexel, a 17-year-old high school student from Rochester, N.Y., told her mother she was staying at a friend's house, but actually set off on a weekend vacation with friends to Myrtle Beach, S.C. And then vanished.
The last time anyone heard from her was when she sent a text message on the night of Saturday, April 25th, to one of her friends, authorities say.
Myrtle Beach Police Capt. David Knipes said officers are following a number of different tips in the disappearance of Drexel.
Police say the teen was last seen in the area of 11th Ave S and 20th Ave S. while returning to her motel after visiting friends from Rochester, New York. She was last seen wearing a white, black, teal, and gray top along with black shorts and white flip flops.
