CHARLESTON, SC - A Charleston man says he was shot early this morning while sitting on his back porch.
The victim told officers he was sitting on his back porch at 240 America St. around 12:20 a.m. when he saw a dark Chrysler 300 stop in front of the building.
According to an incident report, the 30-year-old victim said he heard a shot and realized he had been shot in his left tricep. The vehicle then sped off.
Officers located a 9mm shell casing on the ground near the sidewalk.
Charleston Police are investigating a shooting that happened early this morning on America Street.
