CHARLESTON, SC - On January 19, 2009, at approx 6:35 in the morning, an employee of the Rite Aid Pharmacy at 261 Calhoun Street was attacked and the business was robbed by an unknown Black male.
The robber made entrance to the store by throwing a brick through the glass entrance door. Once inside the robber overpowered the employee and took an undetermined amount of money.
Injuries to the victim required medical treatment at MUSC. The robber was described as follows: African-American male,20-30 years of age, approx 5' 10" tall, weighing 200 lbs.
